Ask Yahoo, MySpace or … , all major networks that ruled heavily at one time and all which fell from grace to other up and comers. While I have not experienced their mobile apps outside of Apple devices, their iPhone and iPad apps are horrendous. The Ad Platform Doesn’t Deliver. The fact is, no one is bullet proof.

The HTML5 App Market and Platform (Spartan). I've said frequently that Facebook would do well if they had some sort of control of the client, and launching such a platform makes sense. This is also why they'll launch an iPad app - it gives them more control. Kinda reminds me of Myspace - I hope not.
