Technorati ’s new Twittorati (launched July 7, and not last week as some sites are reporting ) will feature tweets from what Technorati thinks are the top 100 bloggers. I have a great tool I use for following the top bloggers on Twitter. It’s called Twitter.

Hashtags are really a key feature of Twitter, and they serve for grouping and finding tweets about a given subject. Twitter only permits one account per email address, meaning you would need to use another for your company account if you’re using an existing Twitter account linked with an email address. Another feature of FriendFeed is the ability to search all of a particular user’s stream, so there’s a built-in tool for searching all of the Sentinel’s posts. Readers can just as easily comment on an item, share it, or give it a StumbleUpon-style “Like” aka, a thumbs-up. Right now the Sentinel posts only headlines.

Facebook seems to have been diligent lately in letting people know loud and clear, via its blog and other channels, about changes to privacy and other features. I can recall one privacy feature recently though that I only became aware of through Facebook wall posts, though these could have originated from official announcements.

This morning, a Twitter search of LinkedIn also revealed that Twitter users are having trouble finding the feature in LinkedIn. Another new LinkedIn feature that’s really useful is the ability to cross-post your LinkedIn status to Twitter by checking a box. Reactions on Twitter were mixed, and Read Write Web was not impressed.
