All of these changes so quickly remind me of Myspace a few years back. Even here in your comments section, I’m logged in with an OpenID connection into your Disqus comments. It looks like they are making a bold move to go toe-to-toe with the guys over at Google. Should be interesting to see.

Facebook and/or MySpace are useful social networks where you can build outposts (see next list). Get a Wordpress.com account for its OpenID benefits. Build a similar outpost on MySpace, if your audience might be there. It’s a good idea to build an account on some of these sites to further extend your personal branding.
