So, I peeked at YouTube. 213 videos on YouTube , the most recent just five days ago. The Facebook page has a not-too-shabby 13,000+ fans, but most of the YouTube videos have just a few dozen views. The team has a lot of photographs on Facebook (and also some on Flickr). The YouTube channel is barely mentioned on Facebook.

Most of the tools in the space focus on Twitter, we focus on Facebook Pages, YouTube and Twitter. Its much more cost effective for the mid size company who doesn't have a giant budget or the customer base on Twitter. I think Facebook pages are a tool that are not given enough credit right now.

Facebook and/or MySpace are useful social networks where you can build outposts (see next list). Get a Flickr account for photo sharing. Get a YouTube account for video uploading. Build a similar outpost on MySpace, if your audience might be there. Another promotion tool: make videos on YouTube with URL links.
