Of course there are the obvious apps like Linkedin , Facebook , Skype etc. Expensify is available for iPhone and Android. I already loved the Scoop.it

Comcast and T-Mobile upgraded everyone to unlimited data for the next 90 days. And T-Mobile is working with Lifeline, a federal program that provides service to those with low incomes to add free data up to 5GB for the next 60 days. Comcast made their Xfinity hotspots open to anyone for free.

Hangouts don’t work on a mobile device for pages. You can’t manage your page from a mobile device. There is no facility to add admins to a page (like Facebook) so you either create an account just for this purpose or share your user name and password with other admins.

I still recommend it if you have a Twitter acct as Periscope can leverage the social graph to spread the word about your video stream, but if you don’t have a Twitter account you can simply sign up with just a mobile phone number. Sign in with your Twitter acct (preferred) or your mobile phone number. Create your username.

Shortly afterward Facebook launched their own app, Riff for mobile devices which allows you to create a video on your device and your Facebook friends can add their own clips to the video creating a collaborative story.
