Man, what an event! I go to a lot of events, and whether I’m speaking or attending the one complaint I hear every time is about network overload or failure. At this event that was never a problem! At lunch with the event organizers they told us about the level of transparency they maintain at all times.

I also use Hootsuite which is good for scheduling a series of tweets for when you may be traveling or getting close to an event you want people to know about. An organized plan can be a huge help. On Facebook I use a combination of Hootsuite and MediaFeedia. Both tools allow me to monitor and update multiple accounts which is great.
