Two weeks ago, I received a Klout Perk to be part of the Social 46, a gathering of Indiana’s top social media influencers. I do not know how many of the 46 were “found” by Klout versus already known by the committee, and it’s not particularly relevant. Am I grateful to receive these gifts?

Someone’s Klout score is not necessarily reflective of that person’s “real&# (i.e. online + offline) influence (though, to be fair to Klout, they don’t claim that is so). To me, thats where all this hype around influence and Klout and the like fall short, because theyre not taking that into consideration.
