A little more than 2 years ago Chris Brogan and I were both attending the first Social Media Jungle event in New York so we decided to carpool down together. During those 5 hours or so of driving and over a dinner at a Chili’s in Middletown, CT later that night, we talked about a new project that he was launching.

I’ve always loved Boston and used to come to the city often on class trips, to explore, for sporting events, the Tall Ships or any other reason I could find. There are many reasons why when I was growing up I always wanted to move to Boston.

You should also consider taking part in Blog Action Day , a once a year event in which thousands of blogs pledge to write at least one post about a specific social cause (last year it was fighting poverty). The blog-driven campaign included voting to determine how the funds would be distributed between the charities.

Either one of those events would be stressful enough to make someone lose their mind. While she was trying to get settled in Boston, she was also right in the middle of planning our wedding which required weekend field trips all over the place including many visits to New York and Connecticut.
