Twitter launched its first sports live-stream, allowing users to watch live coverage of the Wimbledon tennis championships. Users do not need to be logged in to Twitter to watch the stream.

While viewing the stream, the video is presented on the left side of the screen, and recent tweets about the event are in a feed on the right side of the screen.

Twitter users can post their own tweets about the event from this screen, and the #Wimbledon hashtag will automatically be added to their tweets (users can remove it, if they choose).

While this is Twitter’s first sports live-stream, it won’t be the last.
