Unfortunately, Facebook did not offer sharing options, so you’ll have to take an approach that takes some code look-ups and download yours.

Event or occasions – 1-800-Flowers does a great job getting dudes to remember certain dates through their targeting. While those types of ads have driven me to a purchase or two, ads for upcoming events or concerts get me thinking as to whether or not I should attend.

A social media focus group in the 99-year old home of the Red Sox

Events like tweetups and the focus group allow them to keep a pulse of the community in a somewhat scalable method. After the event I headed over to the ballpark with other members of the focus group including Joselin Mane , Christine Major , Dave Cutler and Stephanie Silverstein. We discussed the event that we had just attended.

Can non-profits lead the way for mass-adoption or geolocation.

Non-profits are experts at driving people to a location, generating buzz, raising money for their cause and getting companies to sponsor the event. Let’s say company X wants to sponsor an event with the Jimmy Fund. In a traditional situation, this meant giving a donation to help both the charity and event.
