The people in the company operate within a market environment. A [.]. Social media marketing

What Makes You, You?

Waxing UnLyrical

A few days ago, Ann Bingley Gallops responded to one of my Triberr tweets that shared a blog post Patrick Reyes had sent out. The post itself shared Nosh’s quite innovative video that they use as part of their “404 Not Found&# page. And this made me think… but before I go any further, here’s the Nosh video (I still think it’s very funny and extremely creative).

Small Business Mavericks

That’s because there are a lot of people who just want to socialize with their friends and not use the Internet like a library. But Google+ could change that. What would Google+ have to do to make itself the No. social networking website online? Just one thing. ProBlogger

This guest post is by Jean Compton of jeancompton.com. In the Febuary 2011 issue of I nc. Magazine , Gary Vaynerchuck was interviewed regarding how he runs his many business ventures under the umbrella of VaynerMedia. Talking about his show, Wine Library TV, he was quoted as saying: “Some people think I’m a huckster, but with the show, my intent isn’t to sell our wine. It’s to educate people about wine. There’s a big difference.”. Are you educating or are you selling? Because if all you’re doing is selling… ”You turn your site into QVC,”. and—in Vaynerchuk’s mind—you lose.

Companies will site everything from security, liability issues and computer virus threats to bandwidth issues and productivity. In the end, companies don't want their employees futzing around on YouTube and having to pay the tab as it is happening. I've always said that locking employees out of Facebook won't make them more productive, they'll just find something else to waste their time with (like smoking or talking on the phone). One major issue is new employee recruitment. Busted! The tide is slowing turning. found.
