Pornhub, the snowplow company, has today launched "Beesexual", a philanthropic awareness campaign with the express (and pun enabling) purpose of raising awareness around the declining bee population, as well as raise funds for conservation efforts. Because nature is beesexual and in order to reproduce, it needs bees. You learned this in 4th grade science class.
The Beesexual campaign is beeing (see what I did there) run out of Pornhub's altruistic wing, Pornhub cares through a partnership with French advertising agency BETC. That's the boring stuff. Let's pour some honey on it and get sticky. Each view of a video on the Beesexual channel will result in a donation to bee charities such as Operation Honey Bee and The Center for Honeybee Research. It's not mentioned how much each donation is, but considering Pornhub has millions of daily visitors, volume should count for something.

"Bees play a major part in making our food. The most important thing that bees do is pollinate. Pollination is needed for plants to reproduce, and so many plants depend on bees as pollinators. Unfortunately however, bees are facing a precarious situation and struggling for survival," said Corey Price, VP, Pornhub in a press release. "With over 110 million daily visitors, we thought our users could come together to lend a helping hand and help conserve this precious species. It’s our duty to ensure bees continue to fornicate and pollinate."
That duty involves uploading a bunch of bee-focused nature videos with cheeky sexually-charged narration to the newly minted Beesexual Channel. The videos themselves are generally SFW but the narration is not exactly what you'd get from Sir David Frederick Attenborough. Instead, you are getting some titillating and mildly hilarious bee and pollination get after it narration from well-known adult entertainment stars. Julia Ann, Daya Knight, Olivia Austin, Joanna Angel, Dante Colle, Domino Presley, Will Pounder, Avery Black and Charlotte Stokely narrate the bee videos, while Abella Danger and Kira Noir handle this SFW informational video produced by Eddy with animation direction by Jean-Baptiste Bertholom.
The bee videos themselves are silly, but informative. Each comes with some facts at the end about bee conservation, after some NSFW narration. As the narration and titles of the videos are quite NSFW, as well as the surrounding content, you'll just get linked to some of them within this sentence. It's on you if you click through. The point is that Pornhub is once again behaving better than most corporations these days, reaching out to our hearts and minds rather than just our genitals in order to bring awareness to something that is damaging this world.
More than 700 North American bee species are headed toward extinction. This is caused by habitat loss, increased pesticide use and deforesting. This means trouble for agriculture because things are being pollinated as much. Over $235 billion worth of annual food production relies heavily on the contribution of bees. As well as every flower in your garden and wildflower-lined highways. There is no doubt that bees play an integral role in the Earth's ecosystem.
"Pornhub’s Beesexual campaign is of the utmost importance. There are about 4000 different species of bees native to the United States and more than 700 of them are rapidly declining due to their loss of habitat because of large scale farming," said Abella Danger. It's still an amazing development for the 21st century when tech companies, porn sites at that, spend more time, money and effort being altruistic towards the environment than our government.
