Kikolani

This is a guest post by Jason Acidre. I’ve been working as an SEO for 2 years now. started working for an Australian-based SEO Agency in early 2010, before I was hired by Affilorama and Traffic Travis to be their in-house consultant. Working on these websites compelled me to do extensive research on my own, and that’s when I decided to start my own blog “ Kaiserthesage ” (late June of 2010), to test things that are related to my work, which is mostly on generating traffic and converting them. So how I did manage to earn without the intention to earn ? The First Step.

Leaving Facebook

Twist Image

Should you pull all of your advertising dollars out of Facebook? On the eve of Facebook 's historical initial public offering, automotive manufacturer, GM , made a big public stink about pulling ten million dollars of media spend out of Facebook because they felt that Facebook advertising doesn't work (more on that here: Advertising Age - GM Cuts Facebook Ad Spending, But Ford Steps on the Gas ). The subtext to this move is not about one brand leaving Facebook advertising, but a sentiment that Facebook advertising doesn't work. It's all very silly, isn't it? Media is just media. It's doubtful.

Why Focusing on the User is More Important than SEO

Shift Digital

Having worked in the Internet marketing world for over 10 years, and the computer world for over 20, there is one common theme I have seen throughout my journey in this wonderful industry: a consistent and never changing disease of planning to fail due to failing to plan. Second only to failing to plan, I have seen organization after organization fail because they fail to follow the ideology of Stephen R. Covey in that they begin with the end in mind and leave it at that. One of the most exciting things I’ve witnessed recently was the launch of Google+. truly do revolve around the user.

Spam Links – What Me? Never!

Small Business Mavericks

So you think you don’t have any spammy links. would estimate that just about every website on the Internet would have at least one spammy link, even if it has been created by accident, or in the early days when you were trying to build your business. Of course, “build inbound links” has long been the call of the SEO wild. In recent times, that has changed somewhat to include building outbound links. If links are the issue, what type of links now draw Google’s disfavor? Obvious paid links include those in footers and those in sidebars.

Twitter should be illegal … says Mike Francesa

Jeff Esposito

This post contains video, click here if you are having trouble viewing. Earlier this week WFAN’s Mike Francesa had an awesome rant on Twitter. Some of the top sound bites include Twitter should be illegal, one of these days someone will monetize it and Twitter cuts the middle man out of sports journalism. Now sports radio is known for dumb things being said, but this may take the cake. guess we can just chalk this one up to old media not wanting to admit that media is changing. Would you want to be the grandkid or production assistant who has to educate Francesa on Twitter?
