SHERRILYNNE STARKIE FEBRUARY 5, 2012 February 2012: Ottawa’s Twitter top 20 After a brief absence (December and January) the Ottawa Twitter top 20 makes its return. started doing these tables over a year ago to illustrate how being popular (Grader) on Twitter doesn’t necessarily mean you have influence (TweetLevel). Over time many of the names have changed, established handles have slipped and new ones enter the fray. Both lists are always in a state of flux. But do these tables tell the popular/influence story? TweetLevel changed its algorithym a few months back; and it seems that Grader must have done so too. This is now the exception. phdinparenting. | STEPHEN P SMITH FEBRUARY 5, 2012 Who Has Time for Blogging? Hoo, boy. Blogging Is Dead… Here We Go Again | By Mitch Joel at Twist Image. These same community managers will then complain they don't get the attention or support they need. If you're not getting the attention or support you need, it's your fault. You're not properly establishing the value of your community. You have to talk about your community in value-based terms. You can't establish value if you don't talk about the value. Ultimately, your community must have do one of three things. | SOSHABLE FEBRUARY 5, 2012 Statistics of How Consumers Choose Businesses The numbers are rising on businesses using Social Media to their advantage and rightfully so, since 97% of customers will purchase from your business based on a review they find on the product they are looking for, even more so the review is through people they trust, hence why social networks work. This will please the 34% of those who complain online more so than the ones that go ignored. | | | | | | | | | -

From PeerIndex. Use your scrolly-wheely-mousey thing to scroll. Influence is a TIME thing too. MORE >> -
