Director Kevin Macdonald is still editing the most compelling submissions to go into a documentary film, which is produced by Ridley Scott. The film will premiere at the Sundance Festival and on Youtube in January 2011. More videos will be added to the gallery as the director and his team review the videos.

On July 24, Youtube invites you to capture a glimpse of your life on camera and submit it to the ‘Life in a Day’ project. I find this project compelling as it is testing the potentials of the social web and showing what the outcome can be by co-creating and letting individuals have a voice of their own.

Tamar : How long did the actual execution of the game (filming, traveling, etc) take? The filming took place on three separate days, during one week of good weather! A few people involved were friends of people in the office, and those were filmed in their own homes. Everything was filmed in Brighton. Were they hesitant?

Mark Cuban is watching the streaming and broadcasting space like nobody else, even after making over $1bn from his related projects. Using a comments system like Disqus to stand out (where people can comment with multiple social profiles) instead of using a separate registration page as many of them require.
