They can often be hard to come by, but there are some great ones out there and the following list are the ones that come to mind recently that you may or may not have heard of or used. Of course this only really works if you use Feedburner (which many bloggers do), but my blog subscribers skyrocketed once I started using FriendFeed.

The list of plugins below are WordPress plugins that I consider to be essential and two of them are necessary when moving your WordPress blog from one domain to another. I prefer Disqus , but Intense Debate and Facebook Comments are other popular options. Change it to include title of your post. Change of Address.

Blog Comments (The blog is on WordPress) Disqus This is what I use to manage comments here at Convince & Convert. There are some elements of Disqus I don’t like, especially that it doesn’t always play nice with other plug-ins, but it does make commenting easier and faster for most of you who already have a Disqus account.

The single biggest mistake people make with blogging (Tumblr or otherwise) is that they forget or neglect to start an email list. It’s also good to start a Feedburner feed for your blog, but I wouldn’t promote it: RSS readers know how to use it, and your email list is the priority anyway.

A dialog pop-over will appear with a list of Pages you administer. Select the Page you want to customize by clicking the “Add to Page&# button next to the Page, and when you click the button it will disappear from the list. Now click “Close&#. Now what you want to do is create your tab. Let’s add some content to it.
