If youre new here or just an old friend, Id love it if you subscribed via RSS feed. What also may sound weird is that I want to give you and your readers the URL to opt-out of all the directories you receive – - [link]. Problem is, folks like yourself get inundated with directories that have almost the identical information.

Include member and blog directories: Provide searchable directories of all users and blogs. Edit directory pages to include descriptions and avatars of featured blogs and site administrators. Use a plugin that enables searching of all blogs and provide instructions for searching discussion forums and member or blog directories.

You can use FTP to create a custom directory for your badges or you can also use the image up-loader that comes with your blog site. You’ll probably have an “images&# directory at the root directory of your website. Then put your banners in that directory. Share/Bookmark Thanks for reading!

I also use a desktop search tool which has radically changed how I handle email and directories. I find that there is little need for email folders and a lot less need for directories. If you are among the other 195 people, the first step is to get an RSS reader. Tagging and searching is still across web resources.

It makes things line up nicely when displayed on other people’s directories such as iTunes. You must also supply a downloadable format to enable RSS subscriptions. Now is a good time to sign up to receive new articles by email as soon as they are published or subscribe to our RSS feed.

Colin has developed a searchable directory of listings, and also had the kindness (and good web strategy) to pull out from those listings and create a blog post. Now is a good time to sign up to receive new articles by email as soon as they are published or subscribe to our RSS feed.
