This gives Technorati its coveted “business model&# (everyone wants to be the Digg of Twitter), but it has numerous shortcomings in terms of presenting users with useful and interesting content. I was so impressed with how effectively the company used social media to promote 31-Cent Scoop Night, I got in touch with them and did an e-mail interview with one of their PR managers. It’s a brilliant promotion that fills BR stores around the country, but more brilliant still when built on a social media platform.
