Contribute to article directories. Article directories are still good sources of targeted traffic, mainly because of their authority in a lot of topics. I regularly get 5-10 new subscribers to my e-course every day from this source. Reddit , Digg , and Mix (previously Stumble Upon) are just several huge players out there.

And not that useful either, because while they can see who the right contacts are they are no more reachable than they are in ZoomInfo or any other public directory. This eventually got me to some sites that maintained directories of these vendors, but it was still a lengthy process from there to get to a short-list. social networking.

Meanwhile, Grapic Competitions is a directory of individual graphic design competitions (not affiliated with the above sites), many that offer cash prizes. IdeaScale ( our coverage ) does for research and development what Get Satisfaction does for customer service by providing Digg-style feature request boards. social networking.

We probably have to do more work on regular posts and presentation itself but once you have asked your customers to follow you, have a link from your site and contacted your friend, where do you go to get more people that would find what you post of interest, is there some kind of internal FB directory or other ways to let people know you are there?
