Google has announced it will make a number of changes to Google Reader ‘in the next week’, and by the looks of it, they’re going to break a great existing product and tool which is used by a lot of professionals to be able to shoehorn some extra interaction into Google+.

A quick check has shown that I’ve been using Delicious since November 2006 , although my addiction to Google Reader means I’ve never used social bookmarking as heavily as some friends and colleagues. than with Delicious and Diigo. So you can now also find me as badgergravling on Freelish.us.

If we go back to the early days of online content, I quickly became enamored with Delicious (which, at the time, was a bookmarking service coupled with an online social network). You could not only save and retrieve content on Delicious, but you could follow friends and see what they were saving. google reader.

I can say that life was a lot more chaotic before I found Google Reader (hat tip to Robert Scoble who turned me on to Google Reader). A typical day starts at 6am with answering the new email that came in over night and then some morning reading in my RSS reader (see photo of this mornings Google Reader).

Google Bookmarks: Google Bookmarks ensures that I have access to my most frequently used bookmarks from any computer, anywhere I’m at. I also use Delicious but I use that more for storage and curating together lists such as corporate social media policies or food recipes.

Become a Knowledge Management Ninja with Google Reader. I have been using various RSS readers for nearly five years now - Ive tried them all. However, none matches the power of Google Reader. Some of these may work with RSS readers from Newsgator, Bloglines and others but they are written with Google in mind.).

Delicious Social bookmarking is a great way to share interesting links that could aid in the development of an idea, education, and/or marketing efforts. Delicious is my favorite one to use for this. Google Wave can also be used for customer service, web site/blog creation, an idea repository, etc.
