We’ve definitely evolved and rightly or wrongly so depending on your point of view. Looking back at MySpace, it almost looks like pre-Y2k web Dev. If you think about what made MySpace popular, it wasn’t as much about the conversations as it was about creating your own content, your own page-it struck a nerve.

Verified ones definitely. SMS other social networks are built on SMS revenues such as SMSFun. Twitter has probably done their dash with doing SMS deals by now. Real World Events Music labels, film studios pay MySpace for record launches and Secret Shows. Threadless, YouTube, MySpace have all had that in the past.

When companies actually put the effort in to interacting with their audience, definitely. If you tweet @PopeyesChicken, you’ll find all kinds of tweets about their “bonafide” fried chicken, and @FamilyFeud represents the TV game show, and loves to re-tweet what game show fans all over are saying.    Is it worth it?

I'm definitely a leaner when it comes to photos (only to satisfy my own silly insecurities) but at least I don't burden all my associates with it. If we've seen one photo of you on twitter, that is probably good. But really you've hardly changed since yesterday.

I will definitely look into that "selective tweets" application on Facebook. Some use only Facebook, some use only Twitter, and (in the music realm) some use only MySpace. Much appreciated. After Google Voice and its third-party apps were turned down by Apple due to “it duplicating features that the iPhone comes with (Dialer, SMS, etc),&# Google built a completely browser-based app , avoiding the restrictions and not having to split the profits.
