Tweetdeck If you’re using Twitter in any way to build your personal brand or business, then Tweetdeck will help keep you organised. Not only does Tweetdeck keep things organised, but it also makes it very fast to message people and retweet good content. I prefer keeping most competition checks manual for now.

Tweetdeck and the like may still be the way forward – I’m increasingly using lists in Hootsuite to segment tweeters – and the content they tweet – that I really want to keep an eye on. I definitely agree about the tiresome advertising of someone’s “Daily&# now being out. back to the top.

HootSuite puts all the accounts in one single interface (you can do the same with TweetDeck and Seesmic, I believe), but in terms of passwords, I usually use KeePass to store them with other relevant account information. My followers on this group definitely would not be interested in my political or societal views.
