Don’t let the overwhelming amount of available data trick you into thinking you need to measure everything under the sun. Use secondary research to make sure you’re not reinventing the wheel. It doesn’t necessarily matter how many Facebook fans you have, right? Understand success and measure it. Find numbers that are worth finding.
