Instead, I click over to Twitter where I follow a few hundred curated souls and peruse what they’re talking about. News is bad for you so stop reading and start living. That’s boring.

I don’t look at every list every time I use Facebook; but I peruse through the lists, on average, more frequently than I scroll through the bigger news feed. By following more and curating everyone, I find order in chaos.

Finding Order in Chaos: Month 3

For instance, here is a curated list of people I’ve met offline. This is unfollowing so all of their wall updates now appear on lists and not selected algorithmic updates on my news feed. My news feed now only shows those people who call or text me on a regular basis. This is not unfriending.
