But that was before the iPad started to replace a recipe book on the kitchen counter, next to the internet-connected radio and the smart phone. It’s the trend and prediction season, and there’s one overarching theme which ties together the main three technology trends I believe will break into the mainstream in 2012. We’re already entering the cool celebrity endorsement stage.

Someday we will go to restaurants, bars, cafes and coffee shops and there will be ipads or something of the like. Me: the race is on, smart phns vs smart locales? Plenty.
