What you want to do is take your keywords, do some searches, and then get the RSS feed of that search sent to your Google Reader or feed reader of your choice. If you’re not using an RSS reader use Google’s, it will make your life easier. Same with Twitter keyword searches.

You should also know which keywords have the best conversion and which ones are costing you the most per click. The easiest thing to do is to setup your keywords to be delivered via RSS to the feed reader of your choice (google reader, bloglines, etc). It's all about context.

If you stop by and comment on a blog, you may extend that conversation and/or let that blogger know that you appreciate their work. Consider though that the conversation will only be seen by that community which is limited by the number of subscribers and the number of visitors to that blog. Both are great. Where it belongs.

Feed readers are used to read your content. People use search engines, feed readers, and social media because they provide functionality missing from most websites. Chat forums aren’t for every site, but when done right they’re great ways to build community and facilitate conversation. Chat forum.

And, like ProBlogger , BGR features prominent RSS and email subscription options that encourage readers to stay engaged via feed reader or email. Have you checked recently to ensure that your RSS feeds are working? Consider ending posts by asking readers to give an opinion or add to the conversation.

However, thanks to the ViperChill forums, I recently learned of ‘ Widget Context ‘, a plugin that lets you specify which sidebar widgets show on which types of pages on your blog. In my own split-testing I’ve found that adding a graphical element to your giveaway can give you a huge boost in conversions.
