Recently the topic of syndicating content came up in conversation. You see, lots of bloggers have their blog posts syndicated on other sites that aggregate content, and sometimes we write posts specific to a site just to get our names in front of more readers who frequent that particular web site.

Now, this blog is syndicated on several sites and I send the RSS feed to Triberr and quite a few other places and they seemed to be getting the feed, so what gives? But I never really got around to updating my own blogs until yesterday, when I realized two of them were no longer working. That’s the thing. There’s nobody to ask.

Make sure you add links to your other networks, your blog and your syndicated content ( here’s how ). The other interesting thing is Google will use this data to “see relevant content your friends share on the web.&# Fill out your about section. If you don’t have any, turn them off until you do.

Since time is precious, it’s essential to create a system for repurposing your best blog content so you can syndicate it to multiple platforms in multiple formats (text, audio and video). Wish there was a way to say I like your content without being spammed. I also learned the LIKE buttons can get quite annoying.
