It becomes glaringly obvious, once you’ve received a few of these, that someone is using some cut and paste template or software that is sending one blanket email to thousands of people on a list while just replacing the name and website information. He speculates that Gap’s new logo was not created by designers, but by “a suite full of suits&# who only focus on operations, technicalities, and pushing content. However, I do have some thoughts.

While we all know that content is king, promotion is queen. A post template or commonly used codes (such as the styles that are associated with particular elements such as images or the header tags typically used and in what order) that would be helpful in making sure contributors enter posts in the correct format for easier editing.

I always recommend doing a detailed transcript for any video posts you do on your site, that way you get additional SEO value from the text, people who prefer to read instead of watch video can do so, and people who can’t access the video (such as those on mobile) can still get the content through the text. The first is that I use Amplify for different content than I blog about. While I cant control the conversation taking place where it does (and its interesting to follow it and see it on different platforms), I can control where I publish my original content. The second is that I am becoming more of a control freak about my "island".
