Tools for Sharing Content: Amplify. Use HootSuite to publish content to multiple social media accounts and/or platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Ping.fm (which pushes to many other platforms) and now they’ve just added WordPress functionality. HootSuite features it’s own URL shortner ow.ly Listorious.

Provide your followers with relevant content that is valuable to them without having to constantly monitor someone’s blog or Twitter account for their latest updates. Does the blog always post content that is valuable to your followers? How often does the blog post new content? Post Content. Twitterfeed Feed Setup.

There are several other options, such as Flickr, Tumblr, WordPress, Blogger, etc… even Ping.fm. Plus if you dont cross post the same URLs, its a good way to see which platform drives more traffic, builds connections, Amplify or Twitter. The first is that I use Amplify for different content than I blog about.

They will come back if you can effectively convince them… but you have to have good content. What is good content on Facebook? We don’t know exactly how Facebook judges content, but we know they look at three scores using their EdgeRank indicator: Affinity: This is a measure of how much a user’s fans like his page.

When posting content, use the “except&# feature to post only to selected people. Target non-fans with a unique URL when they land on your page and provide custom messaging. Check out their main website: are there many pages of authentic content? Poll your fans on topics of interest. Do you know any of their friends?

Go beyond just content contribution and contribute to the overall well being of the blog by helping promote other authors as well by following lists created specifically with blog members, contributors, supporters, etc. com blogs), Ping.fm, and FourSquare accounts. Ditto if you use Ping.fm Follow Your Collaborators List.

I have also been using ping.fm I think plurk is more for networking and twitter more for tweeting news/events/links.
