It was klunky, and seemed very limited compared to my self-hosted Wordpress install I had been on for years. Just last year, I was running this blog on a self-hosted Wordpress instance, the same server I was running SocialToo.com. OpenSocial Support. Instantaneous RSS updates. This further intrigued me. The Choices.

A platform should have an extensibility model, a content management model, a user profiling/membership model, a rating/reputation system (for content and authors), and registration system, etc, etc, etc…you get the idea. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 Content still is king.
