Everybody’s been arguing over the value of Google Plus lately. Well, Google just changed the conversation in a big way and just in time. The announcement of Google pages for business came just in time to turn the whole argument on it’s head. Select one and you are now using Google plus as your page.

In case you’re not aware of what that means, Google+ launched a new feature, Google+ Communities on Dec 6. Add to that the very important fact that anyone can create a Google+ Community.

Do they get comments and do people share their content through social media? Take the list and search their names, their blog title, URLs to find out how many mentions there are online. Gather links for their Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Linkedin profiles at a minimum. Do they have similar beliefs or are they open to discussion?

Google+ is a great social network. Google+ is worth the effort. I like to say Google+ combines the best of Twitter and Facebook on one network. But nobody uses Google+. If I never share anything to the public and only share to circles then nobody knows I’m active on Google+. Here’s the thing.
