Open the.zip archive that you downloaded and extract all the contents to a location on your computer NOTE: It is important that you download the file and extract it. Once extracted, locate the folder and click the “index.htm” file in the root directory.

Be sure you place it in the same directory as the.htaccess-good file. This basically creates a backup copy of your.htaccess that you can revert to if something goes wrong. Upload the modified.htaccess file from your local computer to your server. Test your site to make sure it loads up okay by refreshing your home page.

The challenge, however, is that Google has clearly indicated that over-optimizing content with too many keywords can, and has, resulted in authors being penalized in the rankings.
