I pointed last week to the latest Pew Internet research study about internet users and groups which found that the users most engaged with social media are also the most engaged in groups. According to Pew, American adults active in groups were asked about three potential reasons for being active in social or civic groups.

Help a Reader Out: what do we really want out of conference education?

I ask because what I often hear is something along the lines of “the programming isn’t challenging enough” and “I get more out of talking with [insert group - my colleagues, YAPsters, CAEs, etc] in the halls.” 3) how could ASAE [or any other association/conference organizer] do to help attendees maximize their own learning?
