Less than a year after Ignite Social Media was named Social Media Agency of the Year worldwide, our sister company, Carusele, received top honors at the 2017 Shorty Awards, where they were honored as Small Agency of the Year. The award was given after the influencer-generated content company won several individual trophies, including awards for campaigns featuring Walgreens, Pepsi and Hallmark.

We spun Carusele out of Ignite Social Media in 2015 after developing a unique approach to content that makes influencer marketing much more effective. In fact, the variety of Shorty Awards won suggested the novelty of the Carusele approach:

  • Best Use of Native Advertising
  • Best Mid-Range Media Buying Strategy; and
  • Best in Food and Beverage.

Carusele also won the Shorty Awards audience honor (meaning public voting) for the #SayItWithPepsi and #HallmarkAtWalgreens campaigns.

The Shorty Awards honor the best of social media by recognizing the influencers, brands and organizations on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine and more. Past winners include Taylor Swift, Tyler Oakley, Casey Neistat, Hannibal Buress, Malala Yousafzai, Jenna Marbles, J.K. Rowling, PewDiePie, and DJ Khaled.
