I work in social media, and my Klout score has absolutely ZERO influence on the clients I work with, obtain, or my career path quite frankly. I do think there is some value in a company like Klout and what they are trying to do. A Klout score in and of itself is not enough to truly measure ones social influence.

Quite frankly I think those that write successful blogs carry more influence then just about anyone in the social media sphere, so a welcome addition. Not every company or organization needs to outsource their social media efforts. While this may seem like a simple question to answer, most companies and organizations do not have a strong answer.
