Yes, if you are trying to create a specific audience: Particularly if you are a brand or a company, you’ll want to keep an eye on who your follower are. So unless the follower truly warrants ignoring, ignore their comments and mentions of you at your own peril. So, does it matter who follows you? Only if you care about your audience.
