What I mean by decent leads is that you can see if there are companies looking for people with specific skills but your resume is going to be thrown into a pile of 1000 others that may or may not get looked at even once. As a person looking for work, you need to track down the HR or hiring manager on your own to make initial contact.

Probably for the best because I got hired to build their Channel Program but the company had so much channel sales conflict I wanted to puke. I fought the good fight despite the company selling their product direct. The company has a global presence in disaster recovery and disk maintenance. Being out of a job is not very fun.

I did some tweaking on the @paragonamerica profile, it had about 6 followers at the time and started feeding in some updates and links to news about the company. There are some contributing factors like the company already maintaining the corporate @paragonsoftware profile. I started a company blog on WordPress.com.

The issue Twitter has been faced with is even with their explosive growth, they have yet to find a way to make the company profitable. If Twitter set up vertical pages for specific topics that a person couls access then I would think they could market those to companies. So the question still remains, how will Twitter make money?

Many artists contribute songs intended for free download so that they can expand their audience. You did however miss out getting money for free through referrals to companies such as HSBC or Sky.

I use Monitter to see what is being said in my city by specifying the distance of search and I open it up for every conversation when I look for information about news topics or when i want to see what is being said about the company I work for.
