I’m not saying you have to get the CXO on Twitter all day, they’ve got work to do. Set them up with Cotweet or Hootsuite so they can post efficiently and schedule posts out in advance. Show each CXO and what their Twitter reach is, for example, and then the combined company reach.

For Twitter, you can sign up for a third party tool like Twitter Counter to track your account’s growth. Tools like CoTweet, Hootsuite and Tweetstats allow you to measure these things.
