I’m fascinated with the art of blog design, and I often find myself spending too much time browsing some of the industry leading WordPress theme sites. I wanted a theme with a strong community and support so I could have access to the help I needed with customizations and technical issues. This theme is super clean and fast.

It’s the only one of the three that truly has a community feel to it. It’s so important to take it beyond just checking in, and rewarding frequent visits doesn’t make sense for many industries. I’m Yelper, so it just became natural to be hooked on that since my community is with Yelp.

Very much a community management type of role managing the relationships with Microsoft Office MVPs. I always loved working in the halls of Microsoft, and I couldn’t be happier to be aligned with what I can no doubt say is an industry leading product that I love using. What really makes the platform as successful as it is, are the thousands of themes and plugins that the WordPress community contributes. These add ons turn what essentially is a blogging platform, into just about any type of site you want from community to content management systems to storefronts. It truly is amazing.

Also, celebrities, sports stars and industry superstars don’t count either. As a person who works to help others build community, do you find that the “collectors&# and the simple “sellers&# are polluting social networks? How can we work to have a stronger community outside of selling ourselves or products?
