While the actual conference will take place over the next two days, there are many pre-conference parties and activities today.? One peek at the agenda and it is easy to see that the conference is packed full of meaty content. Yelling at the conference is done at your own risk.)

Instead, I suggested that I blog about key learnings from the conference which I felt would benefit my readers and community. I was given free registration for the conference, though I paid all travel expenses out of pocket – quite a hit on my credit card. Without you, the community around Almost Savvy is nothing.

Not only have I heard and seen a zillion blog posts and news reports about the latest Facebook changes in the hours following the press conference, many of the posts were even published during the press conference – all indicative of the frenzy to cover all things Facebook. Or so it seems.

My other goal is to be your representative at the conference. BlogWorld has a jam-packed schedule of conference sessions, networking, and socializing, but I will do my best to get you some feedback and advice in response to your questions. I’ll be taking my video camera with me and hope to interview some of the bloggers I meet.

I’d guess that this unusual evolution has led to a tech event which is more like a festival than a pure conference. This is not like any other conference you’ve attended. This applies to conferences, travel, everyday running around town. Thoughts and Tips for Next Year. Panels, Workshops, Keynotes, Oh My!
