While Google+ is pretty easy to setup and use, one of the things I don’t like about Google+ pages is the fact that you can’t create a friendly URL. The URL for my Facebook page is simple to remember. I’d love to hear other ways that people have solved this problem so feel free to chime in with a comment.

Just read the comments in the follow-up article and you’ll see the great input from readers. Just select and copy the URL of the tweet. Once the tweet preview is populated, I like to delete the actual URL to the tweet from my post. Keep those comments and questions coming. Some worked…some didn’t.

4) If the privacy settings are okay, just select the URL in the browser and copy it. Because you are on the page dedicated to this specific video, image, or post this URL will lead your Twitter followers directly to the content you want to share. Just paste the URL into the tweet if you want to allow Twitter to shorten it.

Step 6 – Type your status update and then paste the URL to the tweet into your update by using the Ctrl+V command in Windows or Command+V in iOS. Paste the URL to the tweet into your LinkedIn status update so you can share it with your post. Once you open the menu, choose the link to copy the URL to the tweet.

Take the hassles out of managing comment spam and let the automated plugins do the work for you. If you are setting up a new instance of WordPress, take a moment to think through what you want your URL structure to look like. Do you want to include the month and year in your URL? Again, really good at what it does.

Let’s face it, based on the comments from the original post in English, people are already frustrated when they reach my blog post, so why make Spanish-speaking searchers go through the extra step of translating the post? There is also a paid version of the plugin that allows you to assign URLs to the translated content.
