My favorite tidbit of info: 68% of consumers who posted a complaint or negative review on a social networking or ratings/reviews site got a response. The quicker the response, the happier the complainer and the more impressed the social media listeners are. Of those, 18% turned into loyal customers and bought more.

I think that Google+ will have some interesting effects, I think collaboration may happen more natively on Google+ than on other social media sites, which may endear it to creative thinkers who also often happen to be early adopters. Is creating “Circles&# to limit conversation the essence of social media?
