Posting frequently seems like a good idea, but if nobody is engaging with comments and shares, it feels spammy. Create content with clear calls to action like quizzes, questions and short videos that give great information. Don’t over-post. Focus on quality rather than quantity and stick with 1-2 posts a day.

Even if you have listening tools set up that alert you to comments, that discussion takes place on the hosts’ web site, while your own post may sit with fewer comments. Be prepared to answer the same questions on multiple platforms. What’s the point in that? Google won’t love you any more. Share the love.

I prefer to allow only users I follow on Periscope to chat as this blocks of 99% of the trolls and negative comments. Please do respond to comments live while broadcasting.
