Others I’d like to see added to the list: Mack Collier ( @MackCollier ) who has helped businesses large and small utilize social media tools to connect with their customers. The lineup looks great with some major heavy hitters in the social media realm! The event will take place at the new Oread on April 29th and 30th.

The survey revealed that social networks provide little real revenue for non-profits via fundraising, and are mainly utilized for traditional marketing efforts (promoting their website, email lists, and events.) I think non-profits definitely have an advantage because they are not "selling" anything.

Companies are getting used to posting the “Follow us on Twitter&# buttons on their sites but perhaps they should be also be including a short list of hashtags that they encourage their users to use when discussing them. They can promote these through their website, blog and of course in their tweets.
