Creating a one-shot Facebook page then deleting it is like spending thousands of dollars on a campaign that builds your email list, only to then take that email list and burn it when the campaign is done. Launching a Facebook Page or Twitter account for a campaign then turning it off at the end of the campaign is akin, in traditional digital terms, to building an email list with a campaign then just deleting it once the campaign is done. That approach is ineffective in social media. It’s a waste. Two-way interaction is here to stay.
