When I was having some issues adding the commenting system to my web site, I was able to quickly get a response from the JS-Kit team and their users. You can have a create a network or a group bookmarking account so that anyone can add new bookmarks, tags to existing, and add comments. Delicious is my favorite one to use for this.

I have earlier written about comment fragmentation and why it matters from an article author’s perspective. FriendFeed specifically is troubling.

Beyond learning about your users, FriendFeed allows users to comment on content within the site itself. This way if I go to digg/reddit/SU before Friend Feed, I don’t see duplicates. Comments there @ FriendFeed is what’s *most* intriguing to me. Each valuable, providing different types of information.

Do you think Reddit, Propeller, etc. I like Reddit a lot but I don’t think it affords the same kind of information that Digg has (the latter being more tech-centric, and the former being more political/philosophical, and those are both areas that are not as interesting to me). Propeller is in a league of its own, in my opinion.
