One of the ways that I promote my most important blog posts, like my massive post on 40+ Tips on How to Become a Social Media Rockstar , is through commenting on blogs enabled with CommentLuv. But what about forums? Sure, you might be thinking CommentLuv only works on WordPress, so how can there be CommentLuv enabled forums?

The guy wrote: “I recently commented on another thread regarding this, and I just did a double-take and Reddit comments indeed appear to not have the "nofollow"-relation? How do they work?”

Create Wikipedia articles, electronic press releases; leave comments on forums and blogs even those with <nofollow> attributes.

Just like in any industry, SEO has a lot of misleading information on blogs and forums. You might read on a forum that all backlink are good or perhaps read a case study about how fantastic blog networks are. Whenever you come to a site that links out to external sources with nofollow links, it will look like in the screenshot below.
