A couple of the studies that I found, I found that most people seem to read blogs in the morning but they tend to comment in blogs outside of business hours; in the evenings, and particularly on weekends. I’ve noticed many times after a Facebook Live that people leave comments on my blog for the first time ever having seen me on a Facebook Live or they will purchase a product in the days that follow as well. Usually, the difference is a positive difference, I’m pleased to say. I find Facebook Live gives me a lot of energy as well.

There’s nothing wrong with setting goals for more traffic and more income and more comments and engagement with your readers but as I was walking today, it struck me that if we instead flip it around and put the focus on the change that we want to see in our readers in the year ahead, then perhaps some of those things will look after themselves.

You also need time for comments, promotion and social media, etc. Blogging requires regular attention and motivation over time. It’s good to aim for writing everyday. Do you have time?
