Twitter’s mobile apps now let you embed tweets inside tweets - Twitter mobile users on iOS and Android can now embed tweets that are linked to a tweet; it’s a much cleaner look (embedded tweet vs. ugly link), but it’s unclear whether the feature has been rolled out to all users or is simply being tested (The Next Web).

Before the release of this new feature, brands and users of Vine had to rely on likes, comments and revines (which not longer exist) to determine the reach of their videos. Last week, Vine introduced a “ Loop Count ” metric that shows users and marketers how many times people are watching, (or looping) their videos.

Twitter is adding Promoted Account tweets, with follow buttons, to desktop Timelines – Promoted Accounts now appear on desktop Timelines; users can follow the account directly with a button embedded in the Tweet (TechCrunch).
