I generally encourage my clients to measure engagement : defined as taking action such as conversation and information sharing. Analyze the links every 30-60-90 days and watch for consistencies for what is shared and commented on. Extraordinary, when you think about it, particularly given all the attention that Twitter garners.

This is a totally loaded gun, but I’m going to say it: I want more conversation. I’ll be making a better effort to converse with people and do more outreach. I’ve gotten a little lazy, especially on Twitter, about STARTING the conversation. That’s a crummy way to create relationships.
